The twin live oaks over the ceremony benches at golden hour

Alleyton, Texas · on Interstate 10

The ranch under the twin oaks.

168 acres of working ranch turned resort, an hour west of Houston. Park the rig, sleep in a covered wagon, and dance in a barn built for celebrations.

Charlie Thomas ran cattle here.
Now the gates are open to you.

Twin Oaks was the working ranch of Charlie Thomas, once the owner of the Houston Rockets. The land keeps its bones: two century live oaks, wide pasture, a pond full of bass. We built the rest around them.

A little frontier town grew up under the trees. A white chapel, a dance hall, a general store, a casino parlor stocked with antique games. This year the ranch opened its newest chapter, a full RV resort with glamping to match.

A frontier town, five minutes off the interstate.

Every building on the ranch has a story and a job. Weddings borrow the chapel. Game nights fill the casino. The store keeps the firewood and the ice cream.
